We all want to be listened to – we all want to be heard.
While all creatures communicate, the craft of writing is one that is uniquely human – a distinct way for us to share our ideas, emotions, opinions, perspectives and, ultimately, our experience, strength, and hope. While the core of our craving for connection remains simple – the need for community – the ways and means by which we communicate with one another have grown increasingly complex.
In our noisy ‘surf-n-scan’ world – where attention is the new economy and critical thinking has never been so compromised – shaping and sharing one’s story amidst an endless din of distracting voices can be difficult. Alhough the advent of AI brings new opportunties, the distinct narrative of the human experience cannot be replaced or replicated by any technology. It is through our stories that we resonate with one another.
We all want to be listened to – we all want to be heard.
